"Website Insurgents strike daily"

Before you start reading..."WARNING"...I shoot straight from the hip. I pull no punches. If you can handle the truth and a few cusses read on.

Monthly, Daily, hourly, website insurgents are hiding behind their web monitors raping and pillaging our websites for free images, free ideas and sometimes the worst of the worst create ghost sites and publish them to the web pretending to be you or me.

There's a man in Canada, he's 83 years old. He is using my photo (which he stole from Google images), I understand why though...he liked my mo, he's using it on a social site... And there is nothing I can do about it.

That's Guerilla Warfare my friend. Traditional warfare is "playing by the rules", but Guerilla warfare with websites is re-defining the rules, even as the game is being played. They web insurgents have tossed out conventional wisdom and now become our unseen web enemy.

"Bugga the web rules"

Every week I talk to people who are sick and tired of playing by the www.website rules...they are not earning nearly as much as they could or should.

And here's the "Website" why!

They are sick and tired of spending money to educate themselves in good faith on waste of time people who guarantee that their website product or website information that they have just purchased and according to the website guru will enhance their bank accounts beyond their wildest dreams...guess what happens next...nothing! That = Distrust! & it's new businesses like yours that will suffer if you get sucked in to instant wealth promises.

Dumb & Dumber

But to be honest with you, those people who grab at straws without doing their homework first ...i.e. nothing to sell? not a business idea in their grey matter? they join every affiliate website they can. Websites promising the golden egg, well...they deserve to have their credit card raped and pillaged by the insurgents.

Desperation leads many people to do some very strange things to turn over a dollar...it's easier to bullshit from behind a computer than it is to maintain honesty and integrity.

I visited a school the other day. 5,6 & 7 year olds are being told by their teachers that it is all "about them". Insurgents in pre-training camps.

What most website wannabes do

So as human nature would have it, most website guru wannabes seem to think that by having a website and a product is easy money, it's easy to make their first million dollars by doing sweet bugga all. So to get there they may grab a free website template, make a few changes, add some stolen images off the web, grab someone elses sales pitch, buy a domain name and publish the website to the web. Congratulations dickhead you've just screwed 50,000,000 others who are honest, now go smoke some "P" while I talk to those with some grey matter left.

But wait...there's more

Most of us understand that we will need to spend the next 12 months trying to get ourselves ranked at No.1. Others of us will realise that we need to understand website marketing. Yip, you'll have to learn that too. And then, we will have to research our website keywords that we will be using...not to mention learning about SEO, page construction, graphic design, HTML, CSS and be prepared to spend the next 3 years of our life on minimum income...maybe!

Sure any monkey can build a website...but you have to know when to take the keyboard away!

Here's another waste of money. Google frigg'n Adwords, bidding on keywords, advertising in the newspapers etc etc. I have yet to find any reason to get involved with this money suck.

But...when your website marketing does work...it "really works", it's the best place to invest your money...on yourself...and on your website...period.

The object of a website is two fold

You are either trying to sell a product or become a well-known expert, even a celebrity within the web industry. So learn how to excercise the power of the media and publicity on the web for free from people who know. Custom built websites web presence has taken 5 years to foster. So if anyone tells you that it happens overnight...tell them to piss off. But when you have earned your web status, it becomes easy to close sales & make some decent honest money via your website. Why? Because you and your site are at the top of your game and still alive and well on the web.

Only the "Lame lay Blame"

We all have choices to make in life. We can all complain as much as we like...just check out the blogging industry at the moment. Does their opinion really matter? Maybe, maybe not. But if you piss somebody off...guess what they are going to do. That's right, you'll find yourself under-attack. But this time they may be right. You will be dead in the water and looking for a job again.

Look...I could go on and on about this, because bad marketing on the web scripted by amateurs drives me crazy. You don't need to know the gory details of why most websites suck - I can shortcut the entire process for you right here:

Nope. The marketing graveyard is filled with fabulous website products and website ideas touted by clowns who could not make a sale. There is only one reason people are "sold" by great marketing. It's because your website is actually a "Master Salesman-In-Website Print".

By all means, try to do it all for yourself. But answer these 3 questions first though.

If the answers are no, no and no...do yourself a favour and get some advice on how to do it correctly before you go broke, commit to paying for the help.
